Gave up my Sunday for a $45 market stall, learned the hard way about foot traffic
Last week I finally booked a table at the flea market in Denton after thinking about it for 3 years. Paid $45 for the spot, woke up at 6am, hauled all my thrifted lamps and old books over there. Sold maybe $30 worth of stuff by noon and just sat there watching people walk past to the food trucks. My neighbor sold homemade candles and she said it took her 6 months of different locations to find the one that worked. Has anyone else tested out market stalls and found some spots are just dead no matter what you bring?
Did you try a weekend closer to payday or during a festival? I wasted $60 at a spot that looked busy but everyone just came for the live music and never touched the booths.
