Hit 100 pages on a novel I abandoned for 5 years

Finally cracked 100 pages on a story I ditched back in 2019. Typed the last sentence of chapter 11 last night at my kitchen table in Spokane. I kept a notebook with plot ideas the whole time, so picking it up again felt less like restarting. Has anyone else come back to something after a long break and found the old notes actually helped?
