Showerthought: I was about to throw out my half built arcade cabinet until I saw the one at the laundromat on 5th
My garage has had a half done arcade cabinet sitting in it for 11 months now. The control panel is wired but the screen mount is crooked and I kept telling myself I would fix it someday. Last Tuesday I was killing time at the laundromat on 5th street and they had a working cabinet from 1981 just humming along with a coffee stain on the side. I sat there watching a kid play it for 20 minutes and realized nobody cares if the screen mount is perfect, they just want to play the thing. I changed my mind about needing it to look factory fresh before I finish it. I'm going to bolt the screen in crooked this weekend and just play it. Anybody else get stuck on making an old project look perfect instead of just getting it done?
