Walked through the Detroit train station ruins and counted 11 half finished tile jobs
Every single one was somebody's grand plan that ran out of money or nerve, and it made me go home and finally finish the half painted garage I quit on 8 months ago. What's the one project you'd finish tomorrow if someone just stood there and watched you do it?

Detroit is full of those, it's basically a graveyard of big ideas. Kind of funny that a bunch of busted tile made you feel something, but hey whatever gets the garage painted. That said, most half done projects sit there cause nobody actually cares about the result, not cause a guy was standing around watching.
