Forgot my own birthday dinner reservation at a fancy place in Denver

I booked a table at this steakhouse in LoDo 3 weeks ahead for my 30th, then totally spaced on the date and went to a buddy's house for pizza. The restaurant charged me a $75 no-show fee per person. Has anyone else just blanked on something that important?

Right. Because nothing says "good meal" like paying for half a car payment just to get seated. At that price the waitstaff better be feeding me the steak personally and dabbing the corners of my mouth with a cloth napkin. I'd ask for a full breakdown of what's covered in that $75 before I even put on a bra for the evening.
