Chose between A&P school at night or quitting to go full time, and I picked wrong
Two years back I was working line at a small field outside Dayton and trying to get my A&P done at the same time. My options were night classes twice a week for 18 months while I kept my job, or quit, move in with my brother, and knock it out in 10 months full time. I went with nights because I did not want to give up health insurance. Big mistake. I was so wiped after a 10 hour shift that I slept through three of my powerplant labs and had to retake one whole block. Cost me an extra $2,100 and pushed my test date back 7 months. My buddy who quit and did it full time had his license 4 months before me and is already making $6 more an hour. Has anyone here done the night school route and actually finished on schedule, or is it just me?
