DAE quit a $22/hr factory job for a $15/hr apprenticeship and feel dumb about it
So I was working at a stamping plant in Kokomo pulling 55 hour weeks, and the money was decent but the night shift was killing me. My cousin kept pushing me to apply at his electrical shop, so I took the pay cut about 7 months ago and started running conduit and pulling wire. Some days I look at my check and wonder if I made a huge mistake, but I'm actually learning a trade instead of babysitting a press. Anyone else jump ship for less money and have it work out, or did you end up going back?
