Can we talk about the older installer at the Fort Worth job who said he labels every wire before he pulls it
I was pulling cat6 through a 90 foot attic run on Tuesday and the other installer on the job, a guy named Ray with 22 years in, said he tags both ends of every cable with tape and a marker before it ever goes in the wall. I always labeled after the pull and spent an hour and a half last month tracing six runs behind a finished wall in a Plano house. Ray's way costs maybe 30 seconds per cable and saved him a callback, and I did it on the rest of the Fort Worth install with zero mix-ups. Small thing but it made my week. How do you all keep your runs straight on big jobs, tape or numbered stickers?
