Panel job in Aurora went sideways after the homeowner's dog locked me out at 7am
Got to a 3,200 sq ft ranch in Aurora at 6:45am to swap out an old panel and 14 zones of wire. The homeowner left for work, and around 7am her shepherd somehow bumped the deadbolt on the side door while I was out at the truck grabbing my drill. Stood in 28 degree weather for 50 minutes waiting on her to drive back, then found out the panel can bus was fried too. Anybody keep a spare key or have a trick for not getting locked out on these solo jobs?
