Dropped $180 on a Silky Sugoi handsaw and I'm not going back to my old Fanno

I always thought guys spending that much on a handsaw were just showing off, I ran a $30 Fanno for 6 years and figured a saw is a saw. After 3 weeks of pruning live oak with the Sugoi my forearm stopped aching and I was finishing jobs about 20 minutes faster, so I gave my old one to the new guy. Anyone else made the swap, or do you still keep a cheap beater for dirty root work?

Sat here for a second thinking a handsaw is just a handsaw, which is exactly the dumb thought that had me running a rusty big box special for way too long. Mine was so dull I basically sawed with my shoulder and then complained about my back all weekend like it was some kind of mystery. The cheap one still lives in the truck for roots and dirt and the occasional cut near fencing, because I am not dragging a nice saw through that mess. Sharp teeth just eat through green wood instead of skating on top of it, and that part alone sold me.
