The $8 paintbrush trick that saved my dig photos in Utah
Tbh I was sick of spending 20 minutes brushing dirt off artifacts for photos at the site outside Moab. A buddy told me to try a soft makeup brush from the dollar store instead of the stiff ones. It got dust out of tiny crevices without damaging the surface, and I finished the cataloging in half the time. Anyone else use something off-label for cleaning finds?

Ha! I used a child's toothbrush on some fragile pottery shards last summer, worked great for those tight spots.
