Finally sprayed a bumper in my garage booth in Tacoma without a single run
Six months ago I set up a little inflatable booth in my garage here in Tacoma with a $250 Amazon fan and some furnace filters, and every panel I shot came out with runs or dry spots. I watched maybe 40 hours of videos and kept messing up my gun distance and speed. Two Saturdays back I resprayed a rear bumper for a neighbor's Civic and it laid down clean on the first pass, no wet sanding needed. I think it finally clicked when I slowed my hand down instead of cranking up the pressure. For you guys spraying in home setups, do you dial in by feel or do you keep a test panel taped up to check your pattern first?
