Switched from a stud welder to glue pulling for dents last spring

I used to fight with the stud welder on thin panels, burning through and leaving divots every time. After a job on a 2019 Civic door in March, I finally tried the glue pulling kit and the metal barely moved. Has anyone else made that swap and gone back to the welder for certain cases?

Glue pulling saved my hands on a 2008 F-150 door last fall, but I went right back to the welder for that one tricky crease by the body line. Glue just won't grab tight enough on sharp, high-tension spots, and I'd rather burn a tiny hole than leave a wave that takes twice as long to fix.
