Fluke 87 vs a $40 wiggle test box, the cheap one found the bad pin
Had an intermittent fault on a 737 pitot heat circuit that only showed up in flight, so I chased it with my Fluke 87 for two shifts and got nothing. Grabbed a $40 wiggle test box from the tool crib and it flagged the loose pin in connector D400 in about 10 minutes. Anyone else find that a cheap dedicated tool beats a good meter when you are hunting intermittent opens?
