Neighbor's complaint about rooster noise actually helped my flock

So last month my neighbor finally came over and said my rooster was crowing at 5 AM every single day, which I thought was just normal farm life. He asked if I'd tried a bigger coop with more perches, and I laughed it off at first. But after two mornings of listening from his porch, I moved the rooster to a separate sheltered run and shuffled the hens around. Now the crowing starts closer to 7 AM and the girls seem way less stressed. Anyone else had a neighbor critique that turned out to be a real fix, or did your flock just stay loud no matter what you tried?
