Saw a whole new side of my flock at the county fair

Took the kids to the county fair in Tulare last Saturday and watched the 4H kids handle their birds, and I finally noticed my own hens are scared stiff of being picked up because I only ever grab them for health checks. Anyone else realize their chickens act totally different when someone confident just scoops them daily?
