Unpopular opinion: the guy at the lumber yard saved my whole deck build with one sentence
I was about to frame my 12x16 deck in Austin with untreated pine because it was $180 cheaper, and he just said "come back in two summers and tell me how that went." Anyone else had a supply store employee talk them out of a dumb call like that?
