Tried a local credit union for my savings after 10 years with a big bank
I moved $5,000 to a credit union in Portland last month thinking I'd get better rates. Instead, their app kept crashing and it took 4 days to transfer money back to my checking. I learned that convenience matters more than an extra 0.5% APY when you need cash fast. Has anyone else gotten burned chasing a few basis points?
