Finally figured out why my clippers were pulling after 6 years

I spent a whole afternoon taking apart my Wahl Seniors over and over, turns out I was using the wrong oil for the blades. Has anyone else had a simple fix like that take way too long to stumble onto?

Oh man, this reminds me of the time I spent three hours trying to figure out why my weed trimmer wouldn't start. Turned out I had the fuel line kinked under the gas tank. Couldn't see it until I literally turned it upside down and shook it. Felt like a genius and an idiot all at once. Funny how the simplest things can eat up your whole day when you're sure it's something complicated.
