My clippers died 20 minutes into a 6 cut Saturday and I blame the cord, not the blade
Last Saturday at my shop on 9th Street in Boise my 3 year old Andis clipper just quit mid fade on a regular, and I had 5 guys waiting. Everybody in the chair kept saying it was the blade or the motor, but I popped the housing off and the cord was shot right where it bends at the base. I keep telling newer barbers in my chair to check that spot every couple months instead of dumping $80 on a new blade set, and they all nod and then never do it. What do you all do to keep your cords from fraying, or am I the only one who waits till it dies mid haircut?
