Rant: I booked 31 haircuts last Saturday and I only made it through 19

I had 31 cuts on the books last Saturday because my booking app double booked me after a software update, and by 2pm I was 4 people behind with a line out the door. A regular named Marcus saw me sweating and ran to the corner store for waters for everybody waiting, which honestly saved the day. How do you all handle it when the schedule blows up, do you cut the walk-ins or just power through and eat the overtime?

Reminds me of the time my cousin's bakery had a wedding order mix up and the whole neighborhood pitched in to frost cupcakes. Marcus bringing waters is that same small kindness that keeps a bad day from going totally sideways.
