The debate on greasing pedal threads - anti-seize vs. grease

I used to always slather grease on pedal threads like my old mechanic taught me back in 2010. But last year I started using anti-seize compound on aluminum cranks after reading a thread about galvanic corrosion. Now I'm torn - the grease never caused me issues on steel cranks, but the anti-seize feels like overkill for a pedal. Anyone else switched methods and seen a real difference over a few years of riding? Or am I just wasting time with the extra tube in my shop?

85% of my pedals are on aluminum cranks. Anti-seize all the way now. Never had a creak or a seized pedal since switching.

Wait, 85% of your pedals are on aluminum cranks? That's a crazy specific number lol. You actually counting those up or just estimating?
