Binged 3 seasons of a cooking competition in one weekend, fell asleep mid episode and woke up to a spoiler

I was on my couch in Chicago with a plate of nachos Saturday night, dozed off during a knife skills round, and woke up to the winner holding the trophy on screen so has anyone else accidentally ruined a show for themselves that way?
