Found a cheat code for rewatching old favorites without getting bored

I kept starting shows I loved like The Office or Parks and Rec but would drop them halfway through because I'd seen the jokes too many times. Then I tried watching them with the audio description track on for the blind. It's like a whole new show because the narrator describes facial expressions and scene details I never noticed. Has anyone else tried this trick or have another weird way to freshen up a rewatch?

My memory is so bad I could probably rewatch the same episode of The Office three times in a row and still laugh at the jokes like it's brand new. I barely remember what happened in the last season I watched so repetition is never really an issue for me. Maybe my terrible memory is actually a superpower in disguise.
