My power went out last night right at the finale of 'Shogun'. Had to finish it on my phone.

The piece said it's usually a mix of bad luck and systems getting overloaded when everyone tries to log on at once. They used a major sports streaming service as an example, where the big game crashed everything. Makes you wonder why they don't plan updates for slower hours.
