The deleted scene count for my favorite show blew my mind

I was looking up the blu ray extras for The Expanse, season 2, and stumbled on the fact that they cut over 40 minutes of footage just for that one season. It got me thinking about how much story we never see, and now I hunt down deleted scenes for every show I finish. Found that stat on a fan wiki page about production notes. Has anyone else gotten into tracking down cut footage for their favorites? Some of it is honestly better than what aired.
