Watched Dark dubbed first, then with subtitles, and the subtitles version is a totally different show
I started Dark on Netflix dubbed because reading while tired was too much work, and I made it about 4 episodes before giving up because the story felt flat. Went back and restarted with subtitles and it was like watching a completely different show, the voice acting and timing just carry so much more weight. The dubbing flattened every emotional beat, especially the scenes with Ulrich and Mikkel. Has anyone else had a show they dropped that only clicked once they switched to the original audio?
