Am I the only one who misses when game boxes actually told you the player count on the side

I went to my local shop in Portland last Saturday to grab something for game night and grabbed a box that turned out to be solo only, which nobody wanted. Back in the day the side of the box said 2 to 6 players right there in big letters, but now it's all art and a tiny icon I need my glasses to read. I stood in the aisle for 10 minutes flipping boxes over like an idiot. Got home, we played Splendor again for the 40th time. Does anyone else just check BGG on their phone before buying anything now, or is that just me?
