I used to mock dice towers until my friend's cat destroyed a campaign
Three weeks ago in Austin, my buddy brought over this cheap wooden dice tower from a garage sale, and I laughed at it. Then his cat jumped on the table during our Gloomhaven session, sent dice flying everywhere, and we lost track of three crit rolls and had to redo a whole combat. That $12 tower saved our night, and now I actually get why people spend money on fancy ones. Anyone else had a gaming accident that made them switch their stance on an accessory?
