Shoutout to the guy who taught me to sleeve cards backwards
I used to sleeve my board game cards with the opening at the top like everyone else, but after 3 games of Eclipse my tokens kept sliding out during setup. A buddy at my FLGS showed me to sleeve them upside down so the opening is at the bottom, and now I never lose a chit. Has anyone else switched their sleeve orientation for a specific game or am I just late to this?

The guy who taught me to flip sleeves was right about Eclipse, but I go opening up for Magic cards so they don't snag.

Tbh I'm the exact same way. My buddy showed me that trick with Eclipse sleeves years ago and I never looked back. But for my Magic decks I always open them up at the top so the cards slide in smooth and don't get those little nicks on the edges. Ngl I've ruined a few expensive foils with cheap sleeves that snagged and left marks. That's why I only buy certain brands now for my good cards. The flip method works great for drafts or cheap decks but I'm too paranoid with my valuable ones.
