Bead width went from sloppy to consistent after switching gloves

For months I was fighting pinholes and uneven tie-ins on 6G pipe, figured it was my angle or rod speed. Swapped from those thick insulated gauntlets to a pair of TIG finger gloves for stick work last week, night and day difference in feel. Anyone else find that glove bulk was masking their actual technique this whole time?
