Rant: tube sheet leak at the plant in Gary had me second guessing the torque wrench
Working a boiler rebuild outside Gary last month and a rolled tube started weeping right after hydro, turns out my torque wrench had drifted 12 ft-lbs and I'd been trusting it all week. Borrowed the QA guy's calibrated one and re-rolled the whole lower row that afternoon. Anybody else keep a backup wrench on the truck just for that?
