I finally got my book club to really argue about a character's choice
We read 'The Dutch House' and one person said Danny was a selfish son for leaving his sister. Another member, a teacher from Cleveland, said he was just trying to live his own life. I had to think hard about it for a few days. What's a book where you changed your mind about a character after hearing someone else's view?
