TIL my book club picks the next book by whoever talks loudest, not by vote
At our meetup in Denver two months ago, one member looked right at me and said the group never actually votes, they just go with the most confident voice in the room. So how does your club really pick books, actual vote or whoever pushes hardest?
Honestly a loud voice pushing a pick isn't always bad. Sometimes one person actually read the book list and everyone else is just there for the wine, lol. A real vote sounds nice but half the group never even finishes the book anyway.
