Why does nobody talk about how badly a quart of PVA ages once you crack the lid
I was reading the spec sheet on my usual Jade 403 and it says shelf life drops to about 6 months after opening, which is way shorter than I ever assumed. I had a jug from last fall that still poured fine but the joints on a case of pamphlets I finished in March are already feeling soft, so now I write the open date right on the cap. Anyone else dating their glue or am I just being paranoid about a $20 jug?

I put tape on the cap with the date, saved a whole batch.
