Switched from coffee to tea at my desk job, now I'm the weird one

I got tired of the 10 AM crash and the bathroom trips every hour from the office drip, so last Tuesday I brought my own loose leaf setup with a strainer mug. Three people have asked if I'm sick, one guy literally sniffed my cup, and my supervisor said 'that's fancy' like I was doing something illegal. Now I have to decide if I go back to boring coffee or keep defending my jasmine green tea to everyone who walks past. Has anyone else made a beverage change at work that turned you into a conversation piece?
