Serious question, did a $25 label maker actually fix my mail pile?

I know this sounds dumb but I finally bought one of those little handheld label makers for $25 at Staples because I kept losing bills in a stack on the counter. Ended up labeling bins for "open now," "needs signed," and "shred." First week in a while I didn't miss a due date, so I'm calling it a win. Anyone else have a cheap thing that fixed a problem you'd been losing to for like a year?
