The manager at my old Wendy's in Dayton made us clock out for a 10 minute break, then wrote us up for being slow
Six people quit in two months at that store and corporate never blinked. Does anyone know if clocking out for breaks under 20 minutes is even legal in Ohio?
Ohio actually has no state law requiring paid breaks at all, so clocking you out for a 10 minute one isn't illegal there. The federal rules only kick in for breaks under 20 minutes, and those have to be paid under the FLSA if they're short rest breaks.
