The time my boss threw my notes in the trash during a 1-on-1
Back in March at a retail chain in Cleveland, I spent two hours writing up a plan to fix the inventory counting mess, and my manager grabbed the pages, crumpled them, and said, "we don't do paperwork here, we just sell stuff." He then made me sit while he called me "too college" in front of two other employees, all because I suggested barcodes instead of guessing. Has anyone else had a boss kill a good idea just because they didn't think of it first?
