TIL my old manager taught me more about running meetings than any book

Sat in on a vendor demo in Denver last week and watched their director shut down a 40 minute slide deck with 'what's the one number you need from us?' and it hit me that my old manager did the same thing every Friday at 9am sharp. Anyone else pick up a management habit from a bad boss that actually works?
