My neighbor's 40 year old jade plant made me rethink how I water mine
Was over at my neighbor Ray's place in Sacramento last weekend and he showed me his jade plant that has been in the same terra cotta pot since 1983. He never waters it on a schedule, just when the leaves start to look a little soft, and the thing is a monster with a trunk like my wrist. I had been watering mine every Sunday like clockwork, so now I am wondering if I have been drowning it this whole time, anyone else ditch a schedule and just watch the leaves instead?
