Got told at the Tire Barn in Reno that cheap pads warp rotors, but mine lasted 47k miles on a daily driver
The counter guy swore I needed the $180 ceramic set because my $32 pads would warp rotors in a year, but almost three years later my rotors still mic out fine and the only noise is a little squeak on cold mornings, so has anyone actually killed a rotor with budget pads or is that just a sales line?
