Rant: My uncle swore I only needed to swap the front pads, and my rear rotors disagreed
My uncle Rick has done brakes on nothing but Fords for 30 years, so when he said the backs never wear out, I believed him and just did the fronts on my Corolla. Three weeks later I'm coming down the hill into Antioch and the pedal goes soft with a grinding noise that made my stomach drop. Pulled the wheel in my driveway and the rear pad was down to bare metal, rotor gouged to heck. Anybody else get burned trusting the guy who has only ever worked on one kind of car?
