Borrowed a laser level from a framer in Nashville, now I feel like I've been working blind
I've always been a string-line and level guy for my residential brickwork, figured lasers were just for the drywall crowd. Last month a framer buddy let me try his $280 rotary laser on a retaining wall job down in Nashville, and the difference in plumb over 40 feet was honestly embarrassing. Anyone else make the switch late, or do you still trust the old string method for long runs?
