Dropped $340 on a wet saw I used exactly twice and it sits in my garage in Fresno
I bought a 10 inch wet saw about two years back because every video made it look like the magic answer for cutting thin brick. Used it on one job, fought the water tray the whole time, and it sprayed sludge all over a customer's driveway. Total cost with the blade came to $340, plus a $60 blade I chipped on a piece of hard fired brick because I was pushing too fast. My old 4 inch grinder with a $22 diamond wheel got me through the next three jobs faster and cleaner. If you're cutting under a couple hundred square feet a month, a grinder and a good blade will do you fine, no question. Anybody here actually running a wet saw on small jobs, or is that just me wasting garage space?
