Guy on my crew showed me his mortar joints from 6 months back, night and day from his first week
He switched from a round jointer to a sled runner and started striking when the mortar was thumbprint hard instead of right after laying, and his joints went from smeared and raggedy to dead straight and clean, so has anyone else had that tool swap make that big a difference on their crew?
