Wet saw vs nipper for 1/2 inch tile, the wet saw won by a mile
Last weekend I helped my brother tile his bathroom in Boise and we had about 80 cuts to make. I started with the nippers because they're fast and quiet, but I was chipping the edges on every other cut and burning through 3 tiles just to get one right. Switched to the wet saw after lunch and knocked out the rest in about 40 minutes with clean edges every time. Anyone else keep nippers around for small stuff or do you just set up the saw and deal with the water?
