I was cleaning my phone's charging port with a paper clip for 2 years until a repair guy in Tulsa stopped me
He said a metal clip scrapes the pins and shorts the board, and that's probably why my last phone quit charging on one side. Now I use a wooden toothpick and 91% alcohol, has anyone actually saved a port this way or am I kidding myself?
