Snapped the charging port on my Galaxy A52, phone shop or a $25 kit with tweezers?
Dropped my Galaxy A52 while it was plugged in and bent the USB-C port so bad it only charged at weird angles. I got quoted $85 at a shop in Mesa, then watched a guy on YouTube do it with a $25 kit from Amazon that came with tweezers and a little pry tool. I picked the kit and it took me two hours and a lot of nervous sweating, but the port works and I still have the tools for next time. Only thing is the back glass cracked a bit when I pried it off, so now I am wondering if I should have just paid the shop. Did you guys use heat or just pop the back off cold?
