Just realized a bag of dried chickpeas from the bulk bin is way cheaper than canned
I bought a pound of dried chickpeas for $1.50 at my local co-op, soaked them overnight, and cooked them. It made the same amount as about four cans, which would have cost me over $4. The texture was better, too. Does anyone have a good trick for speeding up the soaking step?

Wow, you can actually pressure cook them from dry without soaking at all.

That's a huge time saver! What's the exact cook time and pressure setting you use for dry beans? I've always been nervous about them not getting soft enough.
